It offers ample amount of storage. This drive is great if you do NOT need the speed to read, write, or access the data. I saved six video files on this drive and saved it on another branded drive (HP). This drive was relatively slow compared to the other drive (HP). Since I did not really need the speed, it served the purpose to which I bought it for. ### ⭐ Broke my USB ports with a power surge fresh out of package *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2016* Plugged into my computer, received a "surge detected in USB port" error and before I could unplug it my computer shut off. Had to remove the battery, and discharge the laptop to get it to turn back on and now the USB port doesn't work anymore. It has corrupted dozens of files at complete random over the 2 months I've used it. I've finally narrowed it down to the drive after multiple reformats and trying it on several computers.
