I’m using this with the sawyer filter. It took 7mins and 21 seconds to totally filter the whole bag. I like the size and weight. Glad I went with the 6L bag because I think the 8L would be really heavy and put stress on the bag. I didn’t notice any leaks from the valve connection. Mine did come with the O-ring so I will make sure I take really good care of that. Pros 1. The valve is on the bottom which I love so all the water gets emptied. I saw some that has it on the side so you would have to manipulate it so all the water empties. 2. Everything is easy to read on the bag and seems decently thick so it should hold up well. Things to watch out for: 1. Filling it up all the way will cause water to come out of the top when you fold. I don’t recommend filling it up to the max. 2. The kink attachment for hose doesn’t work at all. The water flows no matter what. 3. Don’t like that all the clips are plastic, I hope they hold up. Review: Great Quality & to have in case of Emergency - I bought this in case SHTF as a prepper, and would add on my water filter to the tube to dispense water into a food grade bucket wuth dispenser. Also good for fresh water for camping. Can use it for cleaning dishes, hands, drinking etc while camping. The only CONS, they should include a cleaning kit with brush, and the tube is not that flexible. It's a hard tube. Hopefully it will last. I don't know the inner dimension to buy extra tubing. The bag is nice. It's velvety on the outside. Nice silicone bag. Seems strong. I have not used it yet. Keeping it in my BUGOUT BAG. Allows you to hike light so u don't need to carry around full bottles of water. Just make sure you have a water filter to attach. I recciment "membrane solutions" water filter over any other brand. I tested the filter. It fits perfect with this tube included. This is great for filling and keeping on your kayak or boat too! ## Features - 【Ultra Safe Materials】: The gravity water bag is built out of strong food-grade plastic. Regarding this issue, you could connect the gravity water bag with a sawyer squeeze. If you have any other inquiries, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-352-3558 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST, Mon - Fri). Thank you. Kind Regards, Mia Lauren Customer Service Rep **Q: How many ounces does the bag weigh? How many ounces does the tube weigh?** A: Bag: 4.75 Hose: 1.66 **Q: Can you roll or squeeze this bag to speed up the filtration process?** A: Yes. It rolls to seal, just keep rolling after. But it's a huge bag, there are smaller bags out there that are better for compressing if you need your water fast **Q: How can this filer's clean water outlet be securely connected to another Waterdrop roll-top bag to keep dirt and bugs out?** A: It is not necessary to attach the water outlet tube to the WaterDrop to keep dirt and bugs out. The outlet is closed until you insert the outlet tube. Then it becomes open. Or you can insert the tube and then use the tube clamp to prevent water from going past the clamp. However, I have found that clamp to be less than ideal and it takes some effort to close it fully enough that it doesn't leak. And if you're concerned about bugs or dirt entering the bag from the top, you can fold over the top flap and then secure the buckle to prevent anything entering the bag after you have filled it with water. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for gravity water filter, highly recommend *by T***M on August 19, 2026* Seems like a great bag for gravity water filtration. I think it's a bit big for longer distances but I did pack it into a back country base camp in the dunes on lake Michigan, in April. I didn't want to go up and down the dunes for water all the time... They're brutal.... And the wide opening made this a fast fill in Lake Michigan when I had to wade out into the really cold water to avoid a bag full of sand. For a solo, I could fill this once or twice a day and have plenty of water for cooking and drinking and hygiene/dishes. It's really sturdy flexible material and it worked great with the sawyer squeeze.... You need an adapter for the hose end to the filter but they come with the sawyer system. It actually filtered really fast....I just used a lightweight bungee to secure it to the tree instead of packing that big strap. The plastic clip to pinch off the water supply is really stiff at first but it loosens up and I don't think it's awesome in quality but not a deal breaker. I would definitely like to find one slightly smaller if they make them for longer distance trips but for two or more people on trail this would be awesome as well. ## Frequently Bought Together - Waterdrop Gravity Water Bag for Camping, Travel, Backpacking, Hiking and Emergency, Compatible with Water Filter Straw, Flex Foldable, 1.5 Gal Bag - Membrane Solutions Straw Water Filter, Survival Filtration Portable Gear, Emergency Preparedness, Supply for Drinking Hiking Camping Travel Hunting Fishing Team Family Outing - Aquatabs 397mg Water Purification Tablets (100 Pack).
