The quality that went into producing this tool far surpasses the others we have purchased in the past, that we had to tape together––NOT THIS ONE. We have only used it a short time, but I love it. The magnet things don't really add anything to it because they are not strong magnets. However, the rod that snaps together is sturdy and works well, because they lock down. brilliant.
