I initially had a difficult time figuring out what the written directions meant but that might just be me. I was able to find a YouTube video that explained what was meant by rotating the handheld part to get the scrubber part inside my aquarium to flip. After that it was super easy to use. I store mine inside my tank which is convenient. The razor side does an excellent job at removing those little specks of algae that stubbornly stick to the glass the scrubber part removed biofilm easily. The magnet is strong and I’ve never had the part inside my tank float away. My glass has never been so clean! I liked it so much that I put a smaller version for my 10 gallon tank on my Wishlist and got it for Christmas. I really wished I had learned about the Flipper sooner. But this really did the job. It’s small but the blade side did take off my stubborn algae.
