But I've tested it with some android apps that give close approximations of PPFD readings using my mobile phone's light sensor (i'm on a samsung galaxy ultra) and the readings are pretty close to this PAR meter's readings. Have yet to figure out how to secure further that cord that others encountered an issue with; I wouldn't want my cord to loosen or disconnect (fearful) as what others experienced.
