Extremely warm and light. Zipper is a little finicky. I sized up from S to M (5'4", 102 lbs.) because I like to layer if need be, and it's perfect. Wore it in the wind as well - it's just fine though a heavy cold wind might require some layering underneath. I would recommend that they have some sort of closer for the hood to keep the wind out, but it's still a great jacket - perfect length. I lived in DC this past winter and I never felt cold with this on. At first I wasn’t sure about the inner sleeve that you can use with a thumbhole or push back up, but it was fantastic. No cold air up your sleeve and thin enough to allow you to put gloves on over it. Most of the time I kept it pushed up. Also, a good hood that stays up when zipped fully. Long enough over your posterior, but with a two-way zipper you can pull up at the bottom to keep your movement unrestricted on a vigorous walk. So good that when I finally met up with a co-worker I hadn’t seen in over a year, we were both wearing this coat. In the exact same color.
