Unfortunately, my cats could never get used to the swinging and always immediately jumped off of it. The fabric was a bit different than I imagined, and was not at all easy for the cats to jump onto. I researched the heck out of this thing before buying it, and ALL the reviews claimed that the cat would eventually love the trapeze, though it might take some getting used to. First, it sways uncontrollably. So, I tried every trick mentioned in positive reviews: tacking it so it doesn't sway as much; hanging it high; hanging it low; dousing it in catnip. I finally pawned it off to other cat owners and they also had no luck. Out of a total of 12 cats, not ONE would touch it.
