I've been using black plastic and wooden utensils for years. I ordered these when I was offered a chance to review them for my honest opinion. (I honestly figured I'd give them away.)The first set was delivered last Friday. I took them out and after washing, used them for dinner. I loved the spatula. It's honestly the perfect size for my small teflon pan. I used it for sauteeing some vegi's for Carbonara. Making the pasta and then into the carbonara I used the spoons, then at the end, the rubber spatula. They are fantastic! I have scratches all over the bottom of my LaCreuset from plastic, metal and wooden utensils. I never found the thing to use. This is it. If you have enameled cast iron I would never be without these! (I would not steer another cook wrong. I have honestly been looking for something that doesn't destroy my enamel for years...)The spoon and the ladle are strong and substantial. The rubber spatula, the flipping spatula and the serving spoon have both structure and give. The silicone is soft while the inner plastic pieces seem very strong. I think baking is going to be fun with these as well. (It's summer, I don't bake much this time of year.)The first set I am keeping for myself. The second set is going to my son's girlfriend who is putting together her first kitchen. I can see buying these for almost every cook I know at Christmas. It's really that good. (Yes, I'm a silicone utensil fangirl now. Please don't judge.) :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely set *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2016* I am pleased with this silicon set in that it is light weight, unjointed and sturdy. The spoon and ladle measure 11", the scraper 11.5, and the spatula and flat spoon measure closer to 12". The spatula base is 3 1/4" deep by 3 1/8" wide, enough for getting under a pancake. The ladle holds 1/3 cup, so smaller than my stainless 1/2 cup ladle, but sufficient, and the shape allows the soup to spoon easily into a bowl. I prefer it to my stainless one even though I need an extra scoop or so. The kitchen spoon holds two tablespoons, which I find handy for estimating additions to gravy or sauces. I was hoping that this spatula would be an all-in-one answer to my needs, but it is so slick that eggs slip off it as they are lifted that it requires using a second utensil to prop the egg as it is lifted off the pan and to the plate. It washes easily. I have not tried it for cookies yet. All in a very nice set, and a fresh color that compliments food. Minus a star for the spatula that is a speck too thick and slippery to hold on to its load. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ THEY WILL/DO STAIN!!! BUT CHECK UPDATE INFO. I had read in another review that they don't stain, BUT I am here to tell you they DO and WILL STAIN in spaghetti sauce, and after just ONE use. Hence the 2 stars. I had used these for less than a week and loved them until I used spoon & ladle last night making spaghetti. I did not let them sit in the sauce but still stained. I also tried to clean them with vinegar with no luck. Still debating whether to return/exchange or not. I will say they are nice BUT DO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU USE THEM ON...UPDATE - 7-3-2016Been over a year since 1st review, at that time gave only 2 stars and even though they CAN NOT be used with any tomato based sauce, I LOVE THESE even got another set. Now updating to 4 stars, minus 1 star because you have to be aware what you use them in.
