In fact, the night he received it, he insisted on taking it to bed with him, and we played alphabet games instead of reading books. He uses it on the back of the Nabi to spell his name, makes designs, and just manipulates the letters constantly. I love the fact that the letters are very tactile. He has known the names of letters for quite a while, but I think being able to feel each one (the material they are made of sort of makes one want to touch them) reinforces his knowledge.
