I couldnt see a size anywhere, thanks clare** A: Only 12.5 ,slightly smaller than regular press studs. **Q: Hi I’m finding it hard to put these claps on to my leather. There is no Instructions on how to put these on for a beginner.** A: Firstly, you will obviously need a hammer and a solid support for the anvil, the round flat bit. Use the narrow punch to create the hole. There are 4 parts to the assembly. Place the large mushroom shape under the leather, with the stalk upwards through the hole. Put the mushroom head on the curved bowl side of the anvil. Place the bowl shaped piece, with the writing upwards, over the stalk. It has a spring in it. Using the narrow pointed tool, it pushes the spring aside, rivet the end of the stalk over to complete the attachment. Place the smaller mushroom shape, with the star pattern and the stalk upwards through the other bit of the leather. Pace on anvil and position the last piece, with the dome upwards, onto the stalk. This time use the tool with the hollow at one end. Place the hollow over the pieces and hammer together.
