The bathtub is designed for free standing faucets. However we have had customer with some of the wider rim bathtubs customize the tubs to their needs with a rim faucet. This would depend on the tub rim size and the size of the faucet as to whether this customization would work. Our narrower rim tubs would lack the space needed for any rim style faucet, please be advised. It is very light weight and very thin acrylic. The drain that comes pre assembled leaks. We had purchased and instal a new drain. Pay the extra money and purchase a quality tub.
