I bought it expecting at least some level of effectiveness based on the claims, but after using it as directed, it failed to make any meaningful difference. The biggest issue is that it simply does not catch fleas. Even when placed in areas where flea activity was known to exist, the trap produced little to no results. The light turns on, the unit powers up, but that’s about where the usefulness ends. After days of operation, there was no noticeable reduction in flea activity and barely anything captured, if anything at all. The design feels more gimmicky than practical. While the idea of using light and a sticky pad sounds good in theory, in real-world use it doesn’t seem to attract fleas effectively. Fleas clearly preferred hosts, carpets, and furniture rather than this trap sitting nearby. For something marketed specifically as a flea killer, it fails at its core purpose. Refill pads are another downside. Since the trap isn’t catching much to begin with, the idea of buying refills just adds insult to injury. You end up paying more for a system that doesn’t deliver results, which makes it a poor value overall. Build quality is also unimpressive. It feels lightweight and plasticky, and nothing about it suggests durability or thoughtful engineering. It feels like a night light with a sticky pad rather than a serious pest control tool.
