IT IS NOT A TEETHING NECKLACE. This necklace is not suitable for teething. I received this item as a gift and here is the actual fine print on the product packaging: "Reminder: We use small beads that present a choking hazard to small children. We test our beads, but they are not suitable for teething or chewing. Mommy Necklaces are intended for adult use and wear only." So, as any mom with a teething baby knows, if it is around your neck, the baby is going to put this in their mouth.
