I do have another brand, however, that does make a noise. **Q: Does this have snow in it that moves like a snow globe?** A: It’s more like glitter. Also, there is a fan on the bottom that causes the glitter to continuously swirl around. Better than a snow globe that must be manually shaken. **Q: Mine lights up but doesn't stay on when I push the disk shaped thing, with and without batteries - kind of weird! Anyone else have this problem?** A: The 1 I got works perfect!! If that's the problem your having it's a bad 3 way slide switch.. mayb they can replace with new one?
