I wasn't sure if I needed TSA locks for a camera case I was carrying on, but I didn't want to get one of those cheap combination locks that can easily be set wrong, and I trust something with keys more anyhow, and I didn't want to chance TSA making me open the case just to inspect all the bits inside. Plus the skulls on top are just so "me", I had to get them after the first pair of TSA locks we purchased didn't fit on our case. I guess our checked luggage will be locked with the other TSA locks we bought. :PI recently discovered that every single one of these have the same exact key. They dont look like much but they seem pretty durable. I tried to pull the skull off the cable with all my strength and it did not budge. I love the way these locks look. I ordered two. One black and one chrome. I use them to lock up my two handguns in the shooters bag. So far so good. We will see how they perform in time. The least is that the keys work on all the locks from this company. I bought a silver and black and one set of keys work on the other lock.
