The palms of the gloves are covered with soft grippy leather - which is perfect for holding a hot part - say, when you're doing a weak hand load - you definitely won't burn your strong hand with these. These are fitted/stretch gloves with a great fit. Magpul has a sizing chart which is very accurate. Be sure to measure your hand as instructed and order the right size for a perfect fit. The only downside, which is more of a note, is that there isn't touchscreen compatibility. This is probably is a good thing since you don't want to use your phone while working OR get contaminants on your mobile device. Put the phone down and pay attention to what you're doing! I did not like them and they did not last very long. I shoot Trap weekly and practice 2x a week. They do good in cooler temps, not for colder temps.
