## Description

"Serenity" is an original mixed media drawing of a Day of the Dead girl by Krysta Logan. It utilizes bright, vibrant colors with a touch of realism; a favorite experiment of the artist. I wanted to finish this in order to enter it into a Day of the Dead show but unfortunately, the deadline has passed. I do love the peaceful expression and bright colors, and I think they both represent the attitudes about death presented during Dia de la Muerte. The piece was created using colored pencils, acrylic paint, acrylic marker, alcohol based markers, and white gel pen on 11x14 mixed media paper. It comes in a lovely blue metal frame, which enhances the colors used in the drawing. It comes ready to hang with hanging wire.
