Particularly if you need to make a quick shoot with your camera. We got this for taking photos outside and near waterfalls in Iceland. Use with our Nikon cameras very well. Even with the zoom lenses.The only big issues was pressing the buttons. The plastic was too thick and it was difficult. We found that leaving the pouch turned around with the opening towards the ground and not the top of the camera....We could put our hand inside to press the buttons better. The camera was better covered than other "rain protection" bags we have used before.The bags are reuseable and lay flat after use.
