The razor is made in India **Q: how mch does the razor weigh** A: I didn't weigh mine. It has the proper heft--not too heavy, not pot-metal light, either, and reminds me of Post-War Gillettes and Shicks. The round handle presents no problem in keeping the blade housing at the proper angle against the face. I never end up with the corner poking me. Once, I didn't check the tightness of the knurled end-knob controlling the "wings." When the blade began to feel like I was shaving with broken glass, I knew it was loose. One turn fixed it. I really like the thing and strongly prefer it to those "aerodynamic" contraptions whose expensive stack-blades seem to me to offer uneven quality. (In other words, what do the numbers and letters indicate?) thanks.** A: im not sure but i think the 90r is 3inch and the 96r is 4 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Edited - Great little mild to medium razor *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on 10 January 2024* After some issues with the initial 87r that I received, Howie from supersafety razors went above and beyond to send me a replacement. The replacement came in, and the only issue with it was a lazy door which I quickly tuned up with a butter knife. This issue is purely cosmetic and in no way interfered with the blade gap or alignment. I tested it out, and the razor is definitely mild-ish, but also with good feedback and blade feel. I can't tell if that makes it medium or not, but it's a close shave regardless. Definitely more efficient than my bevel razor and my Edwin Jagger DE89 so maybe that does classify it as "medium aggressive". Either way, I now have two quality Parker razors, and I'm happy Howie jumped through hoops to make sure I didn't have a poor taste in my mouth every time I mentioned a Parker to someone.Maybe the bad units are common, maybe not, but if you get a good one... it's a damn good little razor for $30. ### ⭐⭐ Schlechte Kopie eines guten Hobels *by A***L on Reviewed in Germany on 31 March 2021* Zum Parker 87R : Der Rasierhobel ist eine Enttäuschung. Der Griff ist sehr kurz und der Kopf sehr klein, so dass man nur schmale Bahnen ziehen kann. Zudem wirkt die gesamte Verarbeitung recht billig und die Flügel sitzen sehr locker und schließen ungleichmäßig, da habe ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Zum Verkäufer : Zum meinem Erstaunen, kann man diesen Artikel nicht zurückgeben, auf die Begründung warte ich noch. Nachtrag folgt.Nachtrag: Eine Begründung habe ich nicht erhalten.
