Its there but its a bit lighter. Overall, the trilogy is great and I would totally recommend it for romantic fanatics. Now as for the follow up duology... thats a whole other story. Im giving 5 stars as to be fair and true to the original trilogy. But the duology is just not it. Im sorry Kiera Cass but there are way too many issues with the duology follow up series. For one, the main character is absolutly annoying and unlikeable. At least America had a fighting spirit and worked hard for what she wanted. I cant say the same for her daughter sadly. The book duology also gives me no interest. And I feel there is nothing to make me keep turning the page. There just isn't any excitement and wonder to keep me reading. So if you were to get this set, be warned that the last two books are just disappointing. For the most part though, I'm glad to have read this wonderful series and I'll keep on re-reading with a smile on my face. Considering buying because I surely didn't regret it and hopefully you'll have a jolly time reading it too! Good day and keep on reading!
