I would also recommend going down an extra size from what the site suggests. Waist: 25-27 inches; Hips: 31-33 inches for a size US22 Waist: 27-29 inches; Hips: 33-35 inches for a size US24 Although the hips are the most important, we really don't want a swimmer feeling like they can't pull the suit high enough to stay comfortably in place on his hips. I would recommend going with the size US 24 to accommodate all measurements.
