The product you consulted has an adjustable range of 35.43"-51.18" on each side. If your installation size is: 36 widtb by 48" length, it can meet your requirements. **Q: Thinking of installing on the outside of our rv. Would you be able to glue the brackets on on take the rod off when traveling?** A: I would say yes, but get you some good industrial strength glue, not the stuff that typically comes in the package. You should be able to screw and unscrew the rod that way, i'd get some wingnut type screws to make it easier than the allen screws. For that purpose, I would assume you were doing a horseshoe shape and would want to be able to attach the wire to the center of the loop, and then higher up on the RV to make it stable enough. without the wire, not sure it would be able to hold up the weight unless it is a very light curtain, and don't hang a towel on it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Install, and looks great. *by D***D on December 19, 2022* This worked perfect in our shower at our lake cabin. fairly solid construction for the purpose. you can't do chin ups on it, but for holding up a shower curtain and a towel, it should do fine. I did not used the supplied adhesive, it might have worked fine, but some reviews said it wasn't that strong, so i opted for some clear gorilla glue adhesive and used some duct tape to hold the brackets to the wall until the gorilla glue had time to cure. After that everything worked fine. I also used the supplied extra cable wire hanger to support the rod on one side where i could attach it to a ceiling joist for additional support. Mine came with a metal silver colored bracket and wire, so i spray painted them black to match the rod and that turned out looking good as well.Overall very satisfied.
