Darker than taupe, but lighter than brown. I wouldn’t say it has any black in it at all. **Q: I have med. brown hair (not dark ), last one I purchased was simma brown & too dark. Would Med brown work for me?** A: I have dark drown hair and I use medium. I don’t like for my eyebrows to be or look dark. Not sure if that helps to your question. Great amount of pigment (light, so it doesn’t look like a caricature/cartoon, and can add if wanted) and good texture (slightly like pomade, helping to hold the brows in place).
