I bought this primarily for the safety feature whereby the gas cuts off when no flame is detected, and it works well. My only issue is with the protective glass panel, which is one reason I purchased it as I have 4 cats. The first few times it held in place when positioned upright. Now it no longer pivots at a 90-degree angle and won't stay up. We have to physically remove the top which is made easy as the hinges slot in place and are not screwed into the body itself. For that reason I'm knocking off a star.
