My ears wake up irritated after a night of use with regular foam earplugs.** A: I believe they are. I would recommend them, not from Amazon. The ones I bought were not the original ones.Don’t but them from Amazon. The seller didn’t like my negative comment and it got deleted. They were horrible. Don’t buy! **Q: Anyone use these while swimming?** A: I wouldn't recommend this for swimming... It's foam and it will absorb water. May I recommend Mack's AquaBlock Earplugs. They are made of a rubber-like substance. Better quality to avoid water **Q: Will they fit a child ?** A: They might fit an older child or teen but they are more for adults with smaller ear canals. I could see them fitting but feeling uncomfortable just like regular/larger earplugs get uncomfortable for my smaller ears. **Q: Are these the original or the new, brighter pink ones (the new ones are horrible)?** A: These are lighter pink than the original ones so I guess they are the newer. At first I thought I wouldn't like them but they work great and I am very happy with them.
