I buy enough for a year and recently purchased and these latest blades don't cut as well? Are others experiencing this?** A: Yep, changed to knock-offs. After hacking up my face I swore off Amazon and their fake items. You can buy the real blades at Wegmans. **Q: Can someone recommend any bades that are better than these?** A: I bought a box of Astra Platinum and they seem to be sharper than the Merkurs. They are cheaper to. Amazon has them 100 blades for like 10 bucks. As of the time that this review was posted, there are two options – Standard and Super Platinum. I believe the only difference is that Super Platinum is 3 x boxes of 10, while Standard is just one box. At current pricing, that makes the Super Platinum by far the better buy (50% higher price for 200% more blades).
