Review: I originally bought this for my achy joints and excessive hair shed. My first order was absolutely wrong upon opening I had a jar of gummies for hair, skin and nails sounds good right? Wrong I don't do well with anything gummy not easily digestible. Finally I received the flakes just in the nick of time😁 !!! I was feeling REALLY BAD 🤯 joints 🦵🦶🖐 achy from inflammation, muscles achy from some virus I picked up while out of town 3 days. My sinuses👃 were so SWOLLEN, when I blew🤧 my nose hardly anything came out. My throat was sore not raw but sore and my eyes👀 were runny .The pressure from my sinuses gave me a tormenting🦱 headache on the right side of my head🧠. While on my trip I bought some little sulfur beads tiny little things at Clarks organic store they help my sinuses open but it didn't last. So when I came home and tried these flakes which comes with a scooper one teaspoon and otherside one tablespoon. I tried 1 🥄teaspoon with water at mealtime and I also was taking some advil allergy medication and cough medication. I felt extremely better the next day but I was still sick so I really prefer natural verses meds. So I stopped the meds and did only the flakes I upped the dose to 1 tablespoon I'm so very healed after 2 doses of 1 tablespoon in a glass of water and a meal. I ate mustard and collard greens was my only meals and it paired nicely with the drink no adverse reactions either. No side effects like I see in some of the reviews. As an added benefit, I noticed that the pain relief elements were noticeable. I didn't have as many general backaches and shoulder pain I tend to experience at 43. After a bit of research, I came to find that the flake form is much more effective than the pill form (which tends to have fillers) and is generally higher in quality. The taste is horrible so I tend to put one scoop in flavored water. At points, I have forgotten to take it and after about a week the aches and pains start to return so I can say it definitely seems to have some affect. I've read that there also seems to be some sort of detoxifying effect from MSM which I am not certain of its accuracy but I will say I don't seem to suffer from break outs or any acne when I use it. I very rarely break out but when on this it's almost never. I'm not sure if it's the MSM or increased water in take. Speaking of increased water intake, I recommend that when taking MSM you definitely increase your water intake greatly or you may find yourself with horrible headaches. When properly hydrated, I have had no headaches but when I first started taking it, I had absolutely terrible headaches and found that once I doubled my water in take they went away. I originally bought this for my achy joints and excessive hair shed. My first order was absolutely wrong upon opening I had a jar of gummies for hair, skin and nails sounds good right? I've had back surgery years ago but still suffer from back and sciatic joint pain. I have tried a number of nutritional supplements ( I'm a pharmacist and know the downfall and side effects of drugs) but nothing has relieved the pain till now. After just 2 weeks of use, MSM has been a God sent! Prior to taking MSM, i would have one day, MAYBE , of less pain a week. After 2 weeks of using this product, I've had many many days with almost 80% pain reduction. I wouldn't have believed that a nutritional product could relieve my back and sciatic pain to this extent. Sure the taste isn't the greatest in plain water, but its really not that bad and I've gotten use to the taste. You can even put in coffee or juices to mask the taste but again, I haven't found the taste that bad. It dissolves fairly quickly in water with a few stirs. For purity , these crystals are just pure MSM. NO CAKING AGENTS. The price is great for its purity and the pain relief I've encountered. I take 3gms of MSM in the morning and again early evening. Start out slowly with the dose and gradually increase the dose till your symptoms dissipate. Divide the doses also because MSM stays in the body for a few hours. All i can say, for a few dollars, give it a try. Its safer then taking pharmaceutical medications with all their side effects that only help for a few hours.
