If you used 2 channels it would be 600 watts on channel 1, and 600 watts on channel 2. If you wanted to have 1200 watts on 2 channels you would need a 2400 watt amp, and if you were to do that you would have to mount a second battery in the trunk with a battery cable to charge it from the front, and again if you want just 2400 watts you would bridge both channels. **Q: So my girlfriend just bought a car and it had this amp system in it already and it was working fine when we first used it and now there no power to it** A: If the light on the side of the amp is not lighting up . Only things you can do is check your fuses because they may be blown. Check your power, ground and remote wires on both ends to make sure they have good connections. Be sure to take your terminals off you're battery when checking you're wires as well. If neither of those work the amp is probably toast. My riot did not have very clean power anyways.
