**Q: Is this a manual grinder or does it need batteries?**
A: Manual - just twist the top.

**Q: can you use the grinder for sea salt？**
A: Am sure you can. I've used it for both Himalayan and Maldon salts. Very happy with purchase.

**Q: Are these dishwasher safe?**
A: Only washed the glass jars in the dishwasher and they were o.k cleaned the grinders separately.

**Q: Is the salt mill identical to the pepper mill? I’m actually after two pepper mills so would this set do?**
A: Both Grinder are identical, and no S or P so only the contents show them to be different
