I use this rake almost daily because my dog really loves to scatter the rock around. I thought I just needed the smooth side, but I actually prefer the rake side. I do a couple trips with the rake side and sometimes finish off with the smooth side if I want a very smooth look. The yard looks great and I actually love this granite!At first I was unsure of aluminum because it can bend easy and is brittle compared to some types of steel. My friend has this same rake and several teeth are bent and wavy. However, there is just too much to like to not forgive the aluminum. The fiberglass handle is thick, light, and easy to hold. The angle of the rake teeth side is perfect for dragging it behind me. I can just walk the yard smooth. The weight is the final perfect touch. as I said, I like to drag this rake as I walk.
