Checking the pictures of each shade on NARS website might help. **Q: I have medium olive skin. Can you receommend the best colors for this skin tone?** A: I do not have olive skin, but use the color called Alaska. I love this product. If this is your first time using it, I would go to a cosmetic store to try different colors. Once you find the one that works best for you, then you can order it on Amazon. That is what I do. Although I am not sure there is much of a price difference. I LOVE this stuff. It is better to go lighter than too dark in my opinion.
