Review: I had an old glove hanging around that was very dried out. It hadn't been used in decades. Did some basic pounding and bending of the leather. There's plenty of youtube videos on this. I rubbed this stuff in, then rolled it up tight with a softball inside. After a few days, I rubbed in another coat, repeating the process. The glove looks awesome now, and is very soft and supple. Anyone saying it's granular, yeah there's a bit of a granular texture to it, but I used my hands to apply the stuff. Maybe the warmth of my fingers melted the stuff as I rubbed it in. So, I would recommend applying it with your fingers. Don't use a brush or cloth. The other thing I wonder is whether some people are trying to apply it to gloves that are not real leather.

**Q: For an old Rawlings glove sitting in drawer for 15 years, how long or repeated seasoning for glove to be softened, ready to play?**
A: This glove oil will breakdown and soften the leather quickly. You may want to use it along with less aggressive oils like mink oil on the back of the glove and non creased areas

**Q: How much do you use to break in a glove? Or another way to ask, how many gloves would this bottle be good for?**
A: A four-ounce bottle like this is enough for lots of gloves if you primarily oil the hinge, palm, and pocket (as most good players do). You don't need much oil for each glove, and it's better to use too little than too much (you can always add more you if you feel it's needed). If you're the type who likes to oil the entire glove and prefers a heavier, floppier, totally-soaked glove, one bottle's probably good for one to two gloves.

**Q: Does anybody know if this product can be used as conditioner for driving gloves?**
A: I don't see why you couldn't. I would do a little test spot first, then do the entire gloves.

**Q: is this really any better than mink oil?**
A: We've been using Rawlings Glove Butter on our baseball gkoves for years and have yet to find a better product for gloves. In my opinion, the viscosity of the glove butter is firmer than mink oil. In fact, we now use this product on other leather items we own from our sofa & loveseat, to nice travel bags!  I will continue to be a loyal customer!
