I realize a 32 inch TV is pretty small time for this stand but after putting it together, I believe it would take a 55 inch, 40 pound TV with ease. A note if you're considering this; check the back of your TV to make sure the bracket doesn't interfere with HDMI inputs. I use a ROKU stick and I was forced to use the side input rather than the back. I know there's some negative reviews for this stand but I have to say it's high quality and heavy duty. Went together easily and the TV mounted to it even easier. All hardware was included. There will be extra screws and hardware but that is for the different variety of TV's and VESA mounts this stand bolts up to. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to friends and family.
