## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these bags connect directly to the Medela freestyle pump, or do I have to pump into a bottle first?**
A: I connect them to my Medela pump. They sell an adaptor for the Medela to pump into their bags. Medela bags are smaller and I always pump at least 4 oz from one of my breasts. So I just cut a slit in the flap of these bags (There is a double purple line that I use) and use the Medela adaptor part. Works great! best tip I got as a BF/working/pumping mom. I hated coming home after 14 hours and having to transfer milk and wash and sterilize bottles.

**Q: Can I reuse these bags or must throw away after use?**
A: These bags are single use and are supposed to be thrown away. There's no way to "re-sanitize" them, so to speak.

**Q: Can I pump directly into these bags from a Ameda pump?**
A: I do it that way.  i use tape to attach the tops of the bags onto the pump.  i pump both sides at the same time.The 4 reasons i pump directly into the bag is 1-less waste, i dont waste/spill a single drop transferring from bottle to bag2-less work bc no bottle to wash out3-saves time bc i dont have to pour from bottle to bag or wash out the bottle4-less bacterial contamination because there's no transferring step

**Q: Can this be use for Spectra?**
A: Hi JT. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our Lansinoh pump adapters are not compatible with Spectra pumps.

I’ve tried a few different breast milk storage bag brands, and in my experience, Lansinoh has been the best quality by far. They’re thick, durable and freeze really well. Across both of my sons, I’ve had only a few bags ever break — which is amazing compared to other brands I’ve tried. They freeze flat, which is great for storage capacity in the freezer and makes thawing much quicker. I also appreciate that they’re BPA-free and have the tear-away tops so you know the bag is completely sealed before and overall very easy to use. While I normally don’t pump directly into bags, these are designed for that option if you prefer — just keep in mind you may need an adapter if you’re not using a Lansinoh pump. I go through bags quickly, so I love that you can buy a 200-count box to cut down on constant reordering. The price is affordable too, especially for the quality. Highly recommend these for pumping mamas!
