It works just fine and no leaks noted. The water seems to taste just a bit better, in fact. It was much less than the Samsung brand, and probably at least as good, from what I can tell. *update-1/18/21 My filter light came on, because it's time to replace, and I'm ordering this again! No leaks and good-tasting water. I just had a repairman out to work on my ice maker, and his concern with not getting Samsung is that many don't have the second 0-ring. This one does. He said to always replace it in the morning on a day you will be home to keep an eye on it for leaks.
