As I bought 10 pairs and got all 10 shirts done at the same time, my tailor charged me £5.00 per shirt (£50.00). I think that that was very good value but my opinion is, naturally, subjective. However, I do not own a sowing machine nor have the know-how to do this myself. The tailor did say that if I'd have asked for only 1 or 2 shirts, he would have charged £10.00 a piece - the standard price of a shirt alteration.
