My husband had throat cancer and the radiation treatments made it super dfficult to eat. This stuff was a life saver for him. Most people lose 50 or more pounds in treatment, he lost more like 20 or 25. 4 scoops was often too thick to swallow for him so we used less but he drank several a day. **Q: Does this help you gain weight ?** A: Absolutely you can gain weight according to how many scoops you use. I don't need to gain weight so I only use one scoop. I use it to keep from loosing weight and for the nutrition it provides. **Q: Does these taste better with Milk or Water????** A: Milk tastes better and smoother, but water is bearable and not chalky. **Q: Are the ingredients in this considered safe and healthy ?** A: As a vegetarian nurse that needs extra calories and nutrition (we skip meals, hazard of the job) I would say so.
