It was so effective and cooling feel, I would send to friends abroad if they were having issues w scalp. Well medi-dan is no longer produced and I spent an afternoon in a rabbit hole researching different options, etc. I tried a few, but this was the winner in closest effectiveness to medi-dan. It takes a bit more to lather, but the tar smell/effect comes through and does work. If you are someone who finds neutrogena t-gel, either the clear or tar version, effective, then lucky you and you likely don’t need this which is on the stronger side. The bottle is smaller than you’d think and more the size of a bottle of toner than shampoo. But, if you are someone who suffers from a really itchy scalp in particular (I don’t have psoriasis or anything similar to how my scalp feels anywhere else), then this may be your savior. Pro tip from a sales lady at Sally’s years ago - get one of the thin blue palm sized scrapers.
