I ran water 2.5 times as instructed (not even sure what 1/2 means?) through the new filter in the pitcher, following all instructions, and the water stayed dark. I filled the reservoir a couple of more times, and each progressive fill drained more slowly. Now the water sits in the reservoir and won't drain at all. I have removed the filter and re-attached, etc., to no avail. I was issued a refund, but I had to pay S&H to return the product - $12.75 - which as half of what I paid/my refund.
