I sewed each side myself. The band stays in place and doesnt move around. I wore mine around my waist and parital hip. There is a elastic string that has a clip for your keys, which is really nice. You dont have to worry about losing it. I placed my gels inside the waistband and didnt have problems getting them out while I ran and they stayed in place. The plastic does fog up a little but it wasn't to the point where I couldn't see my phone. It didnt cause any problems with my phone either. Even after I ran my race which wad a long one the belt stayed in place and didnt stretch out. No problems at all. I had some problems with my original order which was to big a size medium. The owner sent me a small one and made sure I had it in time for my race. He was great!!! Customer service is 5 stars. I know they said they run small but I dont think so. I would definitely recommend getting this product! If Amazon says they are out of a specific size I would contact the company. Leaving a layer of moisture droplets on the inside of the plastic cover and on my phone. I have an iPhone 6s in a shell case and it fits ok on its own, but is a bit annoying to have to jam it in at an odd angle when the headphones are plugged in. As for the back slits for storage: I've tucked keys and other things in there, forgotten about them while doing various activities, and then been completely surprised and thrilled to find out I didn't lose my stuff sometime during the day.
