Extra Virgin Olive Oil, donkey milk, tussah silk, water. Rich composition of Asine milk with high levels of protein, phospholipid and ceramides make it excellent for treatment of wrinkles. Recommended for dry skin, eczema, acne, and psoriasis. Cold method of up to 35 degrees Celsius is used so as not to lose the milk constituents. Keep Dry Between Uses Biodegradable, Eco-Friendly. Q: What is cold process soap? A: Procedure: In order to preserve the nutritive components of natural olive oil in the soap, a method called "Cold Process" (CP) is used. It is labor intensive and time consuming until a final product is made, as it requires a period of "curing" for the soap to be ready for use. In the Cold Process method, the soap making temperatures do not exceed 40C during winter and 45C during summer. This assures that all nutrients in the ingredients are preserved in excellent state and do not oxidize or decay. This applies especially to Extra Virgin olive oil which by itself is an excellent cosmetic oil. According to this method, saponification progresses slowly and can last up to 6 to 8 weeks. The atmosphere humidity is controlled so that it doesn't exceed 60%, so that the resultant soap will be of high quality, as it is a sensitive product until its curing time is completed. In the Cold Process method, all the natural glycerin which occurs during saponification is not being separated (as it is done in industrial Hot Process method soaps) in order to be sold separately for extra profit. Natural, vegetable glycerin is an excellent moisturizing ingredient. Consequently, when we use soap which has not been stripped off its glycerin, our skin obtains a moisturizing breathable film which attracts moisture from the air and retains it. It is very unusual for someone to experience dry, irritated skin from using a Cold Process method soap.
