This stand can probably hold just about any mic if you're not going to extend the boom laterally (note the photos in the topmost positive review, by "Dave" - he loves the stand because he's not using the boom at all. If he tried to use the boom, he'd change his tune very quickly). If you are going to extend the boom laterally, you need to be very careful because the Blue Yeti or any other mic with any weight to it at all will pull this stand over onto the floor in a heartbeat. This is not the "professional" stand it claims to be; anybody who's used professional studio equipment will recognize that this stand is not in the same class. It's a decent stand for careful and limited home use, but it most definitely does not feature the heavy construction, stability, or versatility of a professional mic stand. **Q: Are there instructions on how to set this mic stand up?** A: It does not come with instructions, but you should be able to figure it out - assembly involves screwing the bottom part of the vertical pole into the base, inserting the top part of the vertical pole into the bottom part, and tightening the choke at the middle that keeps the top part at your chosen level of extension.
