Not sure why? Is this the best of the bunch?** A: Not sure if this one is the best of the bunch but it worked good enough to tighten up the arms of our recliners without tearing the entire chair apart. Good price and worked for me. **Q: What is the length of the 3/8" extension? Thank you.** A: the 3/8 one is 8" end to end and the 1/4" one is 6" end to end. They seem well made but like any flexible extension I think if your trying to free a very stuck bolt you might break it.
