However, it has cut what I've worked on much faster than I thought it would. In fact, for metal 16-gauge or thinner it has to be used very quickly for its cut to be clean. For heavier stock it is much superior to my oxyacetylene torch, with which I have many years experience. Don't know about its consumables' longevity yet, but the unit has functioned flawlessly for me so far. I took the time to set it up properly, and it made me smile with the first use. Ground clamp could be heavier duty, but is serviceable as it comes. Read the manual carefully, and follow its guidelines.
