My daughter is 70 lbs. and about 4' 7" if she could extend completely; we bought the medium. You could have someone a bit longer (taller) and still work just fine. It is very well-built and larger than expected, just fitting in our standard-sized bathtub. It has nice rubbery wrap on the legs, which both protects the tub surface and keeps it from moving at all. It seems so strong I suspect it could hold me just fine. The mesh is comfortable and she feels very safe. It's so adjustable that you can set it anywhere from flat to recliner-like, and you can adjust the overall seat height by spreading or narrowing the legs. I thought we would want it to be slightly below the height of the bathtub sides, but so far we're using it maybe 3-5 inches higher than the sides.
