They work pretty well for that purpose, but they are a bit smaller than expected. I bought these instead of the other ones that I found on Amazon because I didn’t need too many of them for this purpose, as they’ll last me quite a while. If they were a bit bigger I would say the price is worth it, but I’ll probably be buying more of these when I run out since this is the smallest pack I can find of cotton balls.
