This lock fits most STANDARD size wheels, but aftermarket rims may have a deeper well (as mine have) that does not reach through enough. I used washers as spacers within to give me a better connection. **Q: Will this work with aftermarket Rock Star wheels?** A: It won't work with any type of wheel. It's junk, waste of money. You replace one of the standard lug nuts with a special lug nut/stud that you just removed. This new nut/stud has a raised rim around the end of the stud to engage with the lock. I should mention that the lock is easily keyed to your jeeps keys, very easy to do, so there is not another key to keep up with. There is also a metal collar that goes around the stud to prevent tampering of the stud. I am VERY security minded, so I placed a large washer on the stud, between the wheel and the lock. This washer completely covers the opening to access the stud. This addition may require a small bump with your fist to secure the lock, but prevents someone from grabbing the metal sleeve with a pair of vise grips, crimping the ring on the stud very tight, and then taking the whole lock and stud off, defeating your reason for buying it. If a theif wants something bad enough they will steal anything, but with my washer addition, I feel safer, but I am sure with just the lock, they will move onto the next jeep that doesn't have the lock.
