Review: Great for Brass and Stainless Soldering - This works well for silver soldering brass to brass, stainless to brass, and stainless to stainless. There's a bit of a learning curve, but when you get the temperature high enough, the Flux pulls the solder into the joint and creates a strong bond. Silver solder requires more heat, which could burn off regular solder, but this stuff stays in place. Notes: - I learned from an online video that if you melt solder and let it pool around a joint, it will flow into the space with flux applied as the temperature increases to the sweet spot. - Only put flux where you need it, as the solder will be drawn to it. - The parts must be cleaned well. - Take your time bringing it up to temperature. If you blast it, carbon deposits can accumulate and interfere with bonding. - I tried this with Mapp gas and propane; most joints easily get hot enough with propane. - The flux leaves a crusty residue that can be removed after it cools. I use a wire brush. Overall a great product!
Review: It does the job well - Works like it's supposed to.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can this be for brazing copper to steel like refrigerator condenser coils, because i read condenser coil are not completely copper.**
A: Condenser coils come in copper, aluminum and stainless. You can use SSWF on stainless and copper condenser coil. You would need an aluminum brazing rod and Albraze flux for aluminum coils. If determined the braze was going to be copper to copper, then a phos copper would be an even better recommendation and no flux needed. Thank you-BuyWelding Team

**Q: Does this contain any phosphorus? (Phosphorus is not allowed for propane applications)**
A: I’m quite certain it does not. I use it to join brass, bronze, and copper with silver and I typically use a propane torch, but I use it to build models and other such items not plumbing or refrigeration work. It can be used to join phosphorus bearing metals though with the exception of Aluminium and magnesium.

**Q: I am brazing stainless to same stainless. Is white or black flux better?**
A: Either will work. If you're brazing a thick piece of stainless that will take a lot of heat, you should use the black flux.

**Q: Will this corrode electrical wire?**
A: I would not recommend using this product on electrical wiring, it is a brazing flux.
Use Silver solder.
