Review: This arrived in perfect condition, even more beautiful than the picture, is solid and straight and seems to work well. Since I plan to use it for hanging earrings for display and use I will probably add a small knob to make opening it easier (which should be easy since it is real wood), but for those wanting something to look like a picture frame it would be perfect as-is. The back is not solid wood but most frames are not and who cares if you are hanging it on the wall? The velvet backing has enough thickness that i am able to push a push-pin all the way in and it stays.

This arrived in perfect condition, even more beautiful than the picture, is solid and straight and seems to work well.
