If you are not doing a lot of cardio or strength training, it is probably not for you. These are really best used to either fuel your workout or use as a meal replacement. Of course, it also comes with a generous 20g of whey protein to also help in your recovery.Insofar as taste and texture go, it is one of the best bars I have tried in quite some time. It is something that I would eat as a snack regardless of whether or not it was health for me. The texture is just great. Not too crunchy, but not gooey either. These bars are definitely a bit on the high-side cost-wise, but are a lot more compact and convenient to carry around than a protein shake mix.If you are trying to lose weight, this is definitely not a product that I would recommend. Both flavors are excellent, e.g. Almond Toffee and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. At 280 calories and 29 grams of carbs, it's slightly higher than others on the market but at least doesn't have any dreaded sugar alcohol. The bars also leave me more satisfied, hunger-wise, than other leading manufacturers.Let's face it -- there are all sorts of protein bars out there and many manufactured by non-recognizable names.
